How long does pool plaster last in Nashville?
Standard marcite is an 8–10 year finish. Quartz (Quartzscapes) and pebble (StoneScapes) run about 12–15 years, and Hydrazzo polished marble can go 20–30. Nashville’s hot summers and hard freezes matter — lean on our experience to guide the right material call for your project.
How much does a pool renovation cost?
Cost depends entirely on the scope, the materials, and the condition of your pool — anything from a straightforward vinyl liner replacement up to a full backyard transformation. Do I need to drain the pool for renovation?
For most work — resurfacing, retiling, coping, gelcoating, or liner change-outs — yes. Equipment upgrades can often be done without draining. We coordinate all drain timing to minimize downtime.
How long does a renovation take?
Renovation timelines run from about a week up to a couple of months, depending entirely on the scope of work.
Why hire a pool contractor for deck replacement?
Pool decks are not flat slabs — the drainage and pitch around a pool are technical, and general concrete contractors do not account for it. We have been doing this for years and have the experience to get it right.
How long until I can swim after a replaster?
Typically 1–2 weeks after completion, depending on how long the pool takes to fill. Every replaster includes proper chemical start-up and a brushing schedule to protect the new finish.
